R is Looking for an Apartment to Rent

A little about me: I moved to Toronto from Montreal last September and have also lived in Shanghai and Hong Kong. I’m really into cooking, especially Chinese food, and love spending cozy nights in, sipping coffee while listening to jazz or blues and working on my computer. I studied art in post-secondary and have a deep appreciation for contemporary visual art—though I’m more of an observer than a creator these days. ’m naturally introverted, but I work in retail, so I’m used to chatting with people all day. That said, at home, I enjoy a calm, chill environment. I’m clean, tidy, non-smoking, and slightly OCD—I like things in their place but I’m not intense about it. Ideally, I’d love to have a roommate who’s open to building a friendly vibe—not just someone who stays in their room 24/7. Think occasional chats, maybe a shared meal here and there, while still respecting each other’s space. I’m looking for someone who’s either a student or a working professional, LGBTQIA+ or LGBTQ+ friendly, and who’s also clean, tidy, respectful, and open to creating a comfortable and welcoming home.
