Jeff is Looking for an Apartment to Rent

Hi, my name is Jeff. I'm a very open and honest person who believes in open dialogue and communication. As a roommate I believe myself to be very respectful and clean. I hate having someone else clean up after me so I strive not to leave a mess to be cleaned in the first place. Also - I work from home so I try to be as respectful as I need to ask someone to be for me to continue to WFH. I have an old dog (13yrs ~50lbs) who is pretty introverted except the moment you come home. We take 2-3 hours of walks a day (20k steps is the goal) so he isn't too needy about attention. I prefer to get along with the person I live with - ideally as friends but I am respectful of boundaries. As for myself my hobbies rotate every few months - I go to weekly trivia & pool nights, I like to go hiking, travel, play games, or generally most nerdy things. I really like commons park for the aforementioned walks but I'm open to exploring other places with similar outdoors nearby. I currently live with a roommate in Griffis Union Station and while our lease ends on Oct 24th, her SO is going to move in to our place in late August. I've already discussed if they'd be ok with taking over my half of the rent when he moves in if I find a place sooner - and they are. So I'm looking to move anytime between late August & Oct 24th. Lastly, I'm a rather liberal person. Politics isn't super important to me but I'd rather not live with someone on the opposite side of that spectrum. If we sound like we might vibe, lmk. I'd like to do a phone interview to get a vibe check and decide from there if finding an apt together makes sense. -Jeff
