Our friendly family homestay is perfect for Students and Working Holiday Guests. Safe, cozy, and convenient in Toronto. Bright rooms, great meals, and easy access to transit. Our homestay is ideal for long-term stays. Included: Espresso coffee and tea. Included: Dinner: Delicious meals from various cultures including: Pork and Beef Roasts, Beef and Chicken Curries/Stews, Pho/Udon/Ramen Soups, Stir fry, Short ribs, Pasta and lots of BBQ during the summer season. We have been hosting guests since 2017. We enjoy meeting new people and learning about their culture, interests and personal aspirations. We are friendly, understanding and approachable. We have two children, boys ages 12 and 14. Both my husband and I work from home and our hobbies include reading, video games, hiking, swimming and making things with our hands. Our home environment is warm and caring and safe and is an English Only speaking home. Easy access to bus and 6 minute bus ride to the Runnymede Subway station. We live in a friendly neighbourhood surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants and not too far from High Park. Convenient location close to transit, grocery stores (2 minute walk), Walmart (10 minute walk), pharmacy, banks and library. There are 3 rooms. All are bright bedrooms on second floor. Rooms are fully furnished with air conditioning and heating, high-speed internet, large bed, wardrobe, study table, chair and lamp. Clean bedding, towels and pillows are included. Laundry facilities and laundry soap are included. We have a lovely backyard with a deck to enjoy the outdoors during warmer weather. House Rules: Guests are responsible for the tidiness of their bedrooms and bathroom. Please limit showers to 15 minutes. Guests are responsible for washing their own laundry and bed sheets. Windows and doors must be closed if air conditioning or heat turned on. Laundry times are evenings (after 7pm) and weekends. No outside shoes in the home (please bring slippers to wear in the house). No overnight guests. Quiet after 10:30pm. Kitchen is to be cleaned after each use. We do not accept smokers. We expect guests to treat our home with respect as we also endeavour to treat them with respect. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions.
