We have three rooms to offer making it a perfect options for friends, siblings and families. Our family lives in a spacious 5 bedroom-2 story home but we only occupy two bedrooms since my daughter is now going to college in California. My son also attends college and lives at home. I work from home. I love hosting and have been doing it since 2011. I love getting to know YOU and learning about your culture and sharing our culture. Over the years we have hosted many students attending the University of Texas - San Antonio (UTSA), UT Health Science Center, BAMC, St. Mary's University, and Defense Language Institute (DLI) at Lackland Air Force Base. We have been fortunate to have hosted people from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Taiwan, S. Korea, France, Mexico and Romania. We have also hosted College interns and ESL High School students, as well as vacationing tourists and business professionals transitioning to San Antonio. Need help with your English? We love going to hotspots downtown, out to eat, and to the movies. :) We live in a nice, quiet, and safe neighborhood. Our home has an alarm so you can feel safe. Your bedroom door has a lock & key. Free WiFi. The washer & dryer are available for use once a week. - The Rooms: Each room has a bed, dresser, desk, TV and WiFi access. For long-term stays, I vacuum the rooms every Saturday or Sunday. - The Kitchen: Full-Paying Guests: 1. May use the kitchen to cook quick meals. Please wash everything and leave the kitchen clean for the next person. 2. Light Continental Breakfast items available: milk, cold cereal, oatmeal, fruit, toast, coffee. - The Laundry: The washer and dryer is avaiable for use once a week - max 2 loads. San Antonio is under Stage 2 Water Restrictions. - The Bathroom: Please leave the bathroom area dry & ready for the next person - dry sink area, dry toilet seat & floor. Towels will be provided upon request but please don't take them home :) - Smoking: No smoking alllowed inside the home. You may smoke outside on the deck in the backyard. *** Payment to Host Information** After the Booking fee is paid to homestay.com: Host will initiate contact within 2 hours for the payment to fully secure the room. Total amount due is made to host (not homestay.com) by credit card, PayPal, or Zelle Bank Tranfers. Once payment has been received, Host will send the address and confirm check-in arrival time. - For Monthly stays - rent is due every month on the day you initially checked in. If you checked in on the 5th, then rent is due the 5th of every month - no exceptions. - Prior to Check-in: U.S. Guests -An official form of Identification must be provided - i.e., Valid Drivers License International Guests - a copy of your passport showing your photo must be provided. - At Check-in: You will be provided a key to your room after presenting your ID/passport (for International guests) to confirm ID in person.
