This single family country home sits on 1.5 acres. The BLUE MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK/SKI RESORT and APPALACHIAN TRAIL are nearby with many outdoor opportunities for year-round recreation. (Trivia 101: Pennsylvania is home to 229 of the most picturesque miles on the Appalachian Trail.) Local hiking spots become a haven for photographers. The room rental in the house often feels like a retreat without all the extra guests. In contrast, Independence Hall in historic Philadelphia is 80 miles south—a great place for any “country mouse” to become a “city mouse” for the day. Major highways are just minutes away.
