Kate Has a House for Rent

We are a family of four, living in a single family home in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Our home has a finished basement with a bedroom and full bathroom for your exclusive use. Our home is in a safe neighborhood that is along a bike trail, adjacent to Alum Springs Park. Guests are welcome to use our bikes. You may want to bike to the train station, to Mary Washington University, or to local shops and dining (all with 1-2 miles of our home). From the train station you are able to take the VRE into Washington DC or the Amtrak all along the East Coast. Fredericksburg is a very walkable city with history and charm. George Washington’s boyhood home is here (Ferry Farm) as well as Mary Washington’s home (Kenmore). Fredericksburg is the site of two civil war battles. Fredericksburg has much to see and do. In the summer, you may wish to tube on the Rappahannock River that runs through downtown, or learn to kayak at the Virginia Outdoor Center. Please be advised that we have two friendly dogs and a cat. We do not allow pets of guests.
