Your home away from home is in Los Angeles California in a quiet and safe area called Silver Lake located between downtown LA and Hollywood. Come stay with us for a few days and then you may decide to extend your stay with us, most people tell us that they don't want to leave our place, they get very comfortable with us. My family and I have live in the Silver Lake area for the past 30 years and 26 residing in this house. Family members are my husband Ricardo "Ricky Rock" musician, my son Riccardo who is a professional film camera operator, my daughter Marcy who is attending music school, my children and husband are music talented. Your bedroom has a full size real and comfortable bed, with it private restroom, private entrance, a small fridge, air conditioning, clean sheets, towels, shampoo, conditioner and all the essentials. The house has a big front yard with all kinds of trees and flowers. We have 1 dog "Rain" a sweet mix Greyhound/Doberman. Sorry but we don't accept pets as guest. If you have a service dog be aware that our dog is territorial with other animals but loves people. This is a musical talented family, and we have all kinds of instruments, guitars and guitar bass (more than all my fingers), drum sets, violin, piano, and keyboards, most of them are in the back of the home recording studio which is sound proof. We all speak English, Spanish and dad also speaks Italian. As a family we have traveled to many exciting countries in America, Europe and Asia. We love to meet people from all over the world and show them our beautiful city. We will make it easy and safe on you, we will pick you up from the airport/bus/train station for a $60 fee. I have been hosting international students for 9 years. I live in Palms, next to Culver City. It is an area of West LA filled with students and young professionals. I have a 2nd floor apartment close to markets & restaurants. The bus to UCLA is a 2 minute walk and the Expo Line train to Santa Monica and DTLA is 10 minutes By bus I live 20 minutes from UCLA and 30 minutes to SMC. I have a housekeeper every two weeks who will clean your room and change your sheets. I also have two beautiful cats! The price includes utilities: (wifi, gas & electric). There is a coin operated washer and dryer located in the back of the building. You will have a lovely large bedroom with a queen size bed, a dresser, nightstand, desk, lamp and closet. You will have use of the kitchen, The Apartment is 2 bedrooms 1 1/2 bath. The 1/2 bath in my room, we share the bathroom that has the shower/tub. I am 20 minutes from the beach and 20 minutes from Beverly Hills, by bus. It's a very safe, central West LA location. There is parking on the street. Stays of a month or less must pay in advance to hold the spot. Stays of more than 30 days should pay a security deposit of $500 which is refundable up to 30 days before your stay, and returned, minus damages or rent owed, 1 week after your departure.

I live in a 4 bedroom house with my boyfriend Rick. I have lived in this house for over 30 years. There is a lovely back yard with shady areas to read and relax. I serve a Continental breakfast daily. We have a cat, she likes to stay indoors and goes outdoors when she wants to. She's friendly. I love baking and will serve my guests treats from time to time. The room has hardwood floors, plantation shutters, and a ceiling fan. There is a tv. We have WiFi as well. The bus stop is 5 minutes away. This line goes from here to Santa Monica or in the other direction, to Westwood and UCLA. Connections can be made to the Expo line or to other bus lines. We enjoy hosting our guests and look forward to meeting you. Washing machine use is permitted, $7.00 per load, wash and dry. $50 cleaning fee (per month) for stays over 2 weeks. $25 if less than 2 weeks. Smoking is not allowed.

Pet free, immaculate condo, housekeeper comes every two weeks (included in price) and washes the sheets and towels as well as cleans the condo in full. Tandem parking space.
