My name is Adrian Darryl Parker and at 6o years of age, separated after 20 years, I’m looking for a simple small place to put my head down nightly, reflective of your listing.

Let me share initially here, what I think…hope we have in common regarding our mutual pursuits.
You need an ultra reliable, non drinker, non smoker, verifiable income tenant who has long outgrown his early days of wine, women and song. LOL Don’t get me wrong 😊those elements are fine for some people in measured amounts. However, as I mentioned… just being out of a 20-year relationship they are not of interest to me.
Women - I have no desire for personal companionship as I am very, very happy with my long followed spiritual past which fills me with all of the warmth and companionship one could need and more!
Wine/Drugs/Smoking - I do not drink. I do not do drugs of any kind including doctor prescribed ones along with being a non-smoker. As I train/run, weights diet very seriously, none of that runs in conjunction with my lifestyle.
Song – The only music I listen to is classical jazz. Predominantly Jazz fm 91. A great mix of both new and upcoming artists. Further it is the one place I will go sometimes (jazz venues) to hear them live, as it is my one and only commercial place to go where one knows, unlike most restaurants and other musical venues you will get a decent return on your time and probably, meet some decent people also!
My present life
After graduating from Humber College in 2019 Covid immediately dispelled all hope of working for a law firm due to covid shutdowns and as I increased wit age I became painfully aware tat my age was becoming a significant factor in doing so.
Subsequently, I had to also deal with a personal issue involving a body organ that is now on the mend
But I was luck enough due to that issue to get Govt. help…guaranteed monthly. That would be ODSP.
To the tune of about $1,400 monthly. Which I’m happy to prove, along with uther items included at the end of my correspondence here further validating both my validity and who I am including a criminal background check I’ve had done as I think it’s really necessary for landlords to go this far to REALLY see whom their bringing into their homes.
I am allowed to earn a certain amount of money on top of that ODSP payment monthly and along with some savings can more that live comfortably with your rent cost of $650 advertised.
I do not have pay stubs etc. to show you as I have basically been semi retired since 2021.
However, when back in Toronto I have arranged to begin acting etc. again with my old agent along with looking for a part time job. The latter will not be hard, as I have numerous qualifications and as I mentioned, regardless of a part time job etc. I still have enough to live on with both accrued savings and my monthly ODSP income of almost $1,400.
Further, I got my start in Toronto (now living outside of Hamilton in a in a 1 stoplight town called Hagersville Ontario) in the entertainment industry doing modelling, acting and ending with writing and producing documentaries. Most recently, I’ve completed a feature length comedy (90 min.) I’m hoping to find producers for when back in the city, with myself as one of the leads.
Proof of above
I am happy to provide the following if my query is of interest.
1. Impeccable Landlord reference for the past 3 years here in Hagersville, in a beautiful newly built home I shared with my now ex partner.
2. A recent criminal record background check (I can give you/forward a copy of) showing a couple of minor infractions (4) more that 33-45 years old including:
a. A minor DUI
b. Possession of cannabis
c. Obstruction of Justice (We/friends failed to leave/disperse a loud party when told by police to do so, quick enough and were then all charged)
d. Fraudulently obtaining ‘services’ – While living with roommates in the late 80’s, one of them had the bright idea to ‘tap into’ the neighbours cable feed so we could also have cable as we could not afford to. The neighbour found out and called police. Subsequently, we were ALL charged with Fraud.
That’s it, the above 4 infractions occurred between mid 1984 and 1993.

My daily schedule
I am generally in bed by 8-9 reading and then sleeping
I am generally up about 5.30 or 6 a.m. and begin the following daily regimen.
Some words of thanks to “The Big Guy”, Stretching, Cardio/Run/walking, breakfast
(Along with all meal preps, I’m incredibly clean and LOVE a clean kitchen, washroom etc. ALWAYS leaving it how I found it. Nobody picks up after me)
Then meditation in my private space, (This usually is done by 8-8.30 a.m.)
Depending on my new schedule, then the gym and my day starts. Including working P/T, entertainment (audition)s etc. Dinner around 6 p.m.ish, then maybe a little good t.v doc etc. Off to bed about 8ish.
In closing
What I’m looking for ideally is a place that is relatively quiet, smoker’s I do not mind. Music and t.v. no problem, along with those who choose to ‘bend the elbow’. Again, with respect of others in mind.
I have very limited possessions as I’ve downgraded etc. for this move. Leaving me with just clothes, essential books, study materials, computer etc.
I also have a pretty decent car (2011 Chevy Equinox that ideally, I’d like to keep if I can get parking? However, if worst comes to worse, I’m prepared to sell it after my move as the TTC along with your downtown proximity precludes the need for one.
Credit Rating
As a result of taking on some mutual debit due to the above 20 year marital breakup, I’ve had to take on some debt. Therefore, my credit rating is not great….at the moment/quickly changing. However, with the guaranteed ODSP I receive, along with accrued savings I’m hoping you will possibly look at the ethics and personal character I’ve tried to show you here.
Specifically, my GREAT landlord reference. Re Always on time etc. for the last 3 years and much prior also
Hypothetically if you like the above, we could do the following:
1. Arrange an interview in person, preferably by Mid July MAX.
2. If you like your proposed tenant, I could get ODSP to directly forward the first months rent prior to moving in and I would give you the last month in person in cash upon my arrival to move in.
3. Therein, I could pay you however you like monthly. Be it, E-transfer first of each month, cash, certified cheques, or post-dated cheques for the entire coming year. Whatever is best for YOU.
I believe that’s it. Sorry if this was a little long, I just wanted to make it as clear and concise as possible for you as to both who I am, and what I can bring to the rental agreement. In hopes of satisfying each and every query you may have regarding myself, my demonstrable character and what you can rely on.
