One Open Room in West Berkeley

One bedroom available for rent in northwest Berkeley, conveniently located within walking distance of Albany Bulb and Fourth Street. The private bedroom ($886/month) shares a bathroom with one other tenant. Utilities are included, but internet is an additional $25/month. Security deposit required. The loft apartment has a total of four bedrooms and the upstairs shared living space is fully furnished. There is a washer and dryer in the building, and there’s plenty of free street parking nearby although it’s not guaranteed. The building is a creative community, with other tenants renting spaces for woodworking, a pottery studio, and a photo lab. There’s also a rooftop space where we sometimes hold mini concerts in the summer. This space is inclusive of queer and trans BI/POC. Please note, if you’re sensitive to noise, the apartment is located right next to the train tracks, and the trains often run through the night. About us: Izzy (25) is a journalist who works a few days each week in SF and otherwise works remotely from home. Max (26) works in emergency management and works in person most days. Kari (28) works in forestry outreach at UC Berkeley and works from home most days of the week. We also have two cats: Freya and Latke. We're excited to get to know you better!
